Summary of the Role: 

We are seeking aspiring engineers for an Engineering Intern position. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology program. Prior work experience is not required; however, candidates should have a strong GPA and training in common engineering software such as NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MATLAB. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside senior engineers while learning the responsibilities of a professional engineer. 

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Learn the responsibilities of an Aerospace Application Engineer. 
• Apply academic knowledge to practical, hands-on engineering work. 
• Use seal design programs, software, and laboratory resources to develop and compile performance data for new and existing seal products. 
• Create tools and documentation that support Aerospace Central Engineering, improve ease of doing business, and promote continuous improvement. 
• Perform administrative engineering tasks as needed. 
• Build an understanding of the product portfolio, quality standards, and business systems. 
• Develop an understanding of the department’s core activities. 
• Establish working relationships with key personnel. 
• Provide support for engineering initiatives, potential material qualifications, and new product introductions as needed. 

Education and Experience: 

• GPA 3.0 or higher  
• Desire to learn new skills

Summary of the Job: 

The Polymer Process Engineer is responsible for the Research & Development of methods, processes, tools, and systems required for the company’s advancement in polymer offerings.  Defines, develops & documents efficient processing methods, parameters, procedures, and materials. Develops equipment/tooling to facilitate production-capable process scaling.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Performs complex research and analysis tasks to determine the best process design approach.

Summary of the Role: 

As an Aerospace Application Engineer (AE) at Trelleborg, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers in the aerospace industry. • Erfahrung im Werkzeugbau, insbesondere Fräsen, Erodieren und CAM-Programmierung
• Gute CAD- und CAM-Kenntnisse
• Grundverständnis von Kunststoff- oder Elastomerprozessen (vorteilhaft)
• Strukturierte, zuverlässige und selbstständige Arbeitsweise
• Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit im Umgang mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern
• Flexibilität bei wechselnden Prioritäten und Aufgabenstellungen
• Gute Englischkenntnisse & sicherer Umgang mit Office-Programmen
