With over 1.500 employees, Trelleborg FHS is a key leading player offering high performance, safety solutions for Oil & Gas transfer market, Industrial Hoses, Rubber Sheeting, Expansion Joints and anti-abrasive solutions in the mining sector.
For our Production Unit located in Spain and Rubber Sheeting Product Group, We are looking for you as a Sales Area Manager Group in Izarra, Spain to support and maximize the sales opportunities for a designated product group area . You will have the opportunity consistent with the Company’s overall business objectives and good business practices, maintains and increases the Company’s sales and profitability through identifying new business opportunities, e.g. new clients and markets, for the Company’s products.
The successful candidate will report to the Sales & Marketing Director PG Rubber Sheeting
Main tasks and responsibilities :
Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization;
Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; respond to more complex customer enquiries;
negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met.
Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
As Sales accelerator, you should have a passion for developing the business while remaining focused on the customer satisfaction. You should understand customer needs and communicate this effectively, be a consultative sales professional with a collaborative team mentality and be able to effectively engage and collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing and Engineering.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in English
Ability to work in international and multicultural environment
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, marketing, management, accounting, finance, or retail management Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Confirmed experience in a similar role, in industrial environments and in international companies
