You are about to provide personal data on the Trelleborg online application system that allows candidates to easily apply for opportunities through our Career website.

By using this online application system and completing this online form, you are authorizing Trelleborg to process your personal data in a secure data center managed by Workbuster, the application service provider used by Trelleborg for recruitment purposes, in accordance with the description below. By not providing such personal data, Trelleborg will not be able to assess your application.

The personal data controller is Trelleborg AB (publ), and, should your personal data relate to a position at one of our subsidiaries, the legal entity of that company. Purpose of processing and legal basis

Trelleborg collects and processes your personal data (such as contact information, career information etc.) that you enter into the system for recruitment purposes in order to evaluate if Trelleborg would be able to conclude an employment contract with you.

If you have not applied for an advertised post, Trelleborg collects and processes your personal data for recruitment purposes in order to evaluate if Trelleborg has an opening that matches your application and if Trelleborg would be able to conclude an employment contract with you. If your application matches openings in another company in the Trelleborg group, your application with your personal data will for the same purposes be transferred to that company.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent. Therefore, you will be asked to give your consent below and in connection therewith you will have to confirm that you have read this privacy policy and that you consent to the processing of your personal data as described herein.

Disclosure and transfer of personal data

The personal data collected and processed through our career pages will be accessible only to selected Trelleborg employees or external recruiters selected by Trelleborg and for recruitment purposes only. These persons may access your personal data from abroad both within and outside the EU/EEA. Such transfer of personal data, if any, to or from another country is necessary for Trelleborg to be able to evaluate your interest in the company and whether or not we would be able to conclude an employment contract with you. The legal basis for any such transfer is that we believe that both our interests in transferring the personal data in order to assess your application overrides any interest you may have to privacy of your personal data as provided. Adequate protection of your personal data in case of any transfer outside the EEA will be upheld by our group legal entities adhering to an Intra-Group Data Transfer Agreement encompassing the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. In case of any transfer to a recruiter outside the EEA, this will be governed by a Data Processing Agreement also duly safeguarding your personal data.

As for applications relating to a specific position, which has been announced for in an employment ad by a specific company within the Trelleborg group, your personal data will be transferred to that company. Furthermore, if another company within the group is responsible for the administration of the recruitment, your personal data will be transferred to that company as well. Information regarding to which companies such transfers will be performed, and in which countries these companies have their business seats, will appear from the relevant employment ad. As for spontaneous applications, which do not relate to a specific employment ad, your personal data may be transferred to any company within the Trelleborg group to which your application might be of interest.

Security and confidentiality

Appropriate technical and organizational security measures are taken and maintained to protect personal data against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, destruction or loss of personal data.

Your personal data will be kept in confidence and we will hold it during the recruitment process, until the recruitment process is completed and for a period of up to twelve months thereafter, in order to be able to defend potential legal claims.

If you have not applied for an advertised post, your personal data will be held for a period of six months and if you withdraw your consent before the end of that period, we will no longer save your personal data

You have the right to request information about the categories of personal data concerning you that we are processing and how they are being used by contacting us in writing using the contact details below. You can also contact us should you want your personal data corrected, updated, deleted or restricted in any way. In certain situations, you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and request that your personal data be transmitted in an electronic format. For the protection of your privacy and your personal data, we may require that you identify yourself in connection with our assistance.
