Summary of the role | |
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for promoting and selling products and services within an assigned market segment for the defined focus accounts. The AM is responsible for building relationships with the appointed accounts and potential prospects in order to fill up the opportunity pipeline. | |

Education and Experience | |
Technical school degree or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering or Technical Education preferred) Preferably 2+ years of work experience in engineering and/or sales related field Knowledge about core tools, processes & norms in Automotive industry like IATF 16949 standard (Automotive Area) | |

Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong people and relationship building skills Strong technical and commercial negotiation skills Broad knowledge of mechanical systems, as well as understanding of technical drawings and terminology Customer driven with a positive, professional, can-do attitude Hunter mentality with a proactive attitude Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Strong analytical and decision making skills Knowledge of rubber/plastic products, seals and bearings is beneficial Market and application knowledge within specified market segments is beneficial Application knowledge within defined market segments Familiarity with ISO quality requirements is beneficial | |
