Duties for a Production Assistant:
Inventory Processing/Control - duties can include but are not limited to.
1. Bar code label incoming materials.
2. Look into discrepancies found in cycle counts.
3. Check completed travelers vs. data inputted into JDE for discrepancies
KPI Data Collection and Inputting – duties can include but are not limited to:
1. Collect data recorded by technicians for daily, weekly and monthly KPIs.
2. Input data into appropriate software packages, mostly JDE and Excel.
3. Print and post graphs generated by the software.
Purchasing or Receiving Support – duties can include but are not limited to:
1. Cover for the primary person when they are out of the office or if their workload won’t allow them to get to it.
Shipping Support – duties can include but are not limited to:
1. Enter data into JDE WO’s (SN’s, etc.), complete WO’s, and get relevant data to Shipper.
2. Perform shipping duties in the absence of the primary person.
Calibration Support - duties can include but are not limited to:
1. Collecting and calibrating measuring devices.
2. Monitoring and updating calibration certificates.
3. Coordinating with calibration labs to get devices requiring outside services competed.
Light Production Work - duties can include but are not limited to:
1. Running the spring machine.
